Kirsten Goss Shaman Collection

We’re so excited to be welcoming jeweller extraordinaire, Kirsten Goss, to the Fair for the first time this year. Epitomising the theme of Handmade Contemporary, Kirsten’s collections are all lovingly crafted by hand, and the result is a distinctive, playful yet elegant look that packs a serious aesthetic punch.

The latest Kirsten Goss collection draws on influences of tribal adornment, the natural versus the supernatural and magical forces…  It is called SHAMAN and will be a definite highlight of her range at the Fair.

A recent visit to Accra, Ghana – a city of sun-bleached colours, piles of handmade glass beads of all colours, shapes and sizes filling the local markets, and a mystical history – stirred in Kirsten the makings of SHAMAN.

References to tribal themes manifest in the repetitive geometry of the collection, while colour is introduced in a limited but bold and unexpected palette. Chains drip from studded earrings, stones lurk within caged settings and stylized references to elemental shamanic forces such as the sun appear within the designs.

Come and meet the lady behind the magic at the Fair, from 7-9 November on the rooftop of Hyde Park Corner
